Hollow

Lately I feel so unaware
And my life feels so unprepared for
People tell me not to run
But I fear what I've become

Looks like I've lost all my faith
That I'll live to see better days
All my will has gone away
The will to go and face the day

Blinded by my loneliness
My wandering eyes can find no happiness
Another hour, another day
Another moment I waste

I pray to wake but make a wish to sleep
Reveal my soul is only skin deep
I realize no one can see
The tears that fall within me
